I've been doing some research on snakes and I want to get one...I've had some come in and go for sale but never kept one longer than 2 weeks before they were sold....What snake would you suggest as a first snake???

I have never had a snake, but I have heard that corn snakes, ball pythons, milk snakes, rosy boas and kingsnakes are good beginner snakes.

Some kingsnakes can have nasty temperaments. I'd recommend a corn snake for a beginners snake. My personal favorite snake is a honduran milk snake, the tangerine dream phase. What a Beaut!!
